The impossible love story.
Theirs is a love of spirits. They spend hours talking, him on the shore, her in the water. They always listen, pay attention because all they have are their words. Their conversations are careful, caring, beautiful and beautifying – they put their souls out so they can meet.
Decades passed and they’re still at it. He tells her about the winding roads, the mountains and the deserts, and she shares her stories about dolphins and waves, and the power of the sun.
One day, they know, they’ll be old and rusty and will start a new life together. Maybe they’ll get buried in the ground, maybe they’ll become pots or skyscrapers. One thing they know is that these stolen conversations will still be with them, as part of their new song.
Because love always wins.
